Our family of 13 was reuniting for the first time in 18 years and I had to choose a location online from where I live in California to host our group. Alan was very helpful and professional in making sure I had the full layout and information I needed to make the decision to choose Somerset. The house was very cozy and had everything we needed. Some of the beds were a little hard but we used the large jacuzzi to relax away the tension. The beach was a block away and less crowded than near Pier 60, which was nice. We were able to just fit our group at the inside dining table, so if you have more than 12 or 13 people you will have to sit outside in order to allow enough room to eat together. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we really enjoyed our stay! Thanks to everyone at !
The somerset house is a very nice place to stay for big family gathering and reunions. Rarely can you find a bigger place that is close to Clearwater beach at a very reasonable price.
This was ideal for our extended family and a few friends to all have a place to stay together. Short walk to the beautiful beach. We can't wait to return!
We all gathered for a family wedding and the house fit our needs perfectly. We loved the location, close walk to the beach and quit neighborhood. We were all pleased with the rooms and the set up, it was great. Planning to return next year!
I can't begin to tell you how wonderful our stay was at Somerset Beach Rental on Clearwater Beach. We had a large family gathering and this place was perfect. We used both houses and enjoyed the common patio between the two houses. The awesome hottub was great for relaxing later in the evening and the children enjoyed playing in it during the day. We had one mechanical issued and it was resolved in a flash. Alan was great with making sure everything was taken care of quickly. He was prompt on greeting us on arrival and checking in to make sure everything was taken care of. Thanks BeachHouse for making our get together so much more remarkable by offering this great house for rental. OH -- the beach - just a short block away was totally awesome and with so many resturaunts, shops, stores and Pier 60 within walking distance we didn't even need our cars. I would recommend this rental to anyone.
A great spot for a family reunion.. we loved the courtyard as we had a few little kids and it was a safe play area plus it was a great gathering spot in the evening.. the plus was a week of great weather
I chose the beach house for my stay because I wanted all of my family and friends to be together. I was celebrating my wedding and had a big group of people coming in from Kansas. It was very convenient to have the separation of the two homes. Family stayed in the bigger home and friends stayed in the smaller home. Having two kitchens was definately a plus. The beach was walking distance which was awesome. Everything was clean and ready to use. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definately stay here agian!

The place was nice. Alan was great to work with. Sand became a problem on the floor but that is expected when you are that close to the beach. The price was a little steep for the group but we managed.
Somerset was spacious and clean. The property manager was extremely helpful, obtaining any items we needed. The pool spa was great. One block from the ocean was perfect, and we loved the ability to walk to restaurants and shops.
Spacious and well suited our needs. Closer to the beach than we expected, and walking distance from the restaurants in town. Overall, a very great experience!
Our family had a wonderful time. It's hard to find a place for our large family but this house did just the trick. Having two kitchens is a must and the hot tub saved the day when it was too cold to go to the beach. Overall, we enjoyed our stay tremendously and would love to come back again in the future.
EXTREMELY CLEAN RENTAL. When we arrived the oven, internet and the hottub were not working. This was an easy fix however as the internet was unplugged, the breaker was tripped and the open needed a repair. The property manager came over immediately and had it repaired. He was extremely attentive. The rental was very spacious, with an excellent location. The tvs in each bedroom were a plus. There is new a/c that keeps the place really cold and you can shut off the a/c during the day to conserve energy and it cools in minutes when you need it. There wasn't an ironing board and the lamps either had no outlets for them or no bulbs, but I would definitely stay here again. There was even a raccoon that visited the property. I have stayed at several rentals in Clearwater, and I would definitely recommend this. The place had no ants, bugs, or roaches. Every place we ever stayed did. It was newly painted and the process of making a rental was easy. The manager was on top of things, much better than anywhere I ever stayed.

Also the entire team of the . My wedding day on 8/22/10 was beautiful on the beach. I would recommend this beautiful house anytime, and I look forward to returning again with my beautiful family.Shopping was nearby and resturants, The beach is down the block and beautiful. The environment was very comfortable. The grills outside need a good, stiff cleaning. A couple of shower curtains need to be changed. The futons are a little firm but I slept on one for 4 nights and survived. Plenty of space and bathrooms. I would give the place a 7.5 rating but for 5-600 dollars it could be a 9 on a scale of 1-10. Not enough reading lamps in the bedrooms, the "pink room" could be toned down. But our family was very comfortable and enjoyed the proximity to the beach and the incredible sunsets. We really enjoyed the two house setup. We would return and recommend the place to friends.
My family and I stayed at the Somerset Place for a week. We were 21 and had a very good time! The manager was very helpful and caring. It wasn't home, but almost! I would recommend it to anyone with a big party.
The Sommerset House was a great place for all of our family to stay and very close to the beach.
The houses at Somerset were perfect for a beach vacation. We had about 26 people staying between the two houses. There was enough room for relaxing and cooking meals. The hot tub was broken during our stay, which was the only bummer we encountered. The house is well maintained and has plenty of outdoor space for having fun. I would love to go back and recommend anyone to stay there.

Our group of 19 fit very comfortably and had a great time. The house was clean and a very short walk to the beach. The hot tub (which could fit about 15) and outdoor patio area were our favorite places to hang out. Overall, it was a great house and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a home that can accomodate a large group of people.
This house is great for big gatherings. There is plenty of room for people to gather and for kids to play. There are two houses and baby monitors to us if you have little ones with you. You may want to bring large pans and bowls if you are coming down and plan to cook large meals. Each room has a theme and is very colorful. We had a great time even tho the weather was not very warm. Thank You very much for all the help you gave us getting reservations made at such short notice.

We enjoyed our week's stay - Somerset was exactly what we needed in living quarters for our family reunion of 9 adults and 12 kids. The large spa was a big hit with the kids - they went from the spa to the beach to the spa to the beach...
We rented this property to fit our large out of town family and bring them close to the beach. It was perfect! Everyone loved it and we were a block from the water!!!!
